Our Project
Community-led Destination Development
Tourism shaped with the people who call Bangar Valley home.
Bangar Valley Collective is Manthan Society’s community-led tourism initiative working with 16 villages across Bangar Valley.
The project brings together local homestays, food, culture and village experiences to create tourism that is rooted in the place and connected to local livelihoods.
At its heart is a simple idea: tourism should create more opportunities closer to home while keeping local communities involved in how their valley is represented and developed.
